Frequently Asked Questions
No. Unlike the 300-hour advanced program, the 900-hour program is open to students without a prior esthetics license. It combines both the 600-hour licensing curriculum and the advanced 300-hour master-level coursework.
Graduates receive a 900-hour Master Esthetics Certificate from the school, plus separate certifications in: Dermaplaning, Laser Hair Removal (with Laser Safety Certification), Microdermabrasion, Microcurrent Therapy, Advanced Chemical Peels, Aromatherapy. Note: the New York State license covers the first 600 hours; the additional 300 hours are recognized with school certificates of completion.
Graduates of the 900-hour program may qualify for positions such as: laser technician, oncology-trained esthetician, medical esthetician in dermatology or plastic surgery offices, clinical skincare specialist, spa director or skincare consultant.
